Catherine’s Palace

L Catherine’s palace is a gorgeous summer residence. It is located out of the city, one hour drive in a small town called Pushkin. (old name Tsarskoe Selo — Tsar's village).

We will walk through magnificently aristocratic baroque  palace designed for  Empress Elizabeth’s with its golden enfilade of gala rooms which reflected the growing power of Russia and the flowering of art and civilization.

We will also see world-famous Amber room is a special glory of the palace and is sometimes called the eighth wonder of the world. Needless to say that our most famous empress Catherine the Great often spent summers here. The palace is spectacular and sumptuous and visiting it is an experience not to forget.
